This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. This policy applies only to futureschoolfund.org and does not apply to third-party sites we link to, including our donation platform and school/partner application portal.

1. Information We Collect
Newsletter Signup. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect:

Your area of interest (donating, becoming a school partner, applying for a scholarship as a family, media inquiry, or other)

We do not collect payment information, donation details, or school/partner application information on this site — those processes take place through third-party services (see Section 3 below).
We do not knowingly collect any information about children. This site is intended for eligible taxpayers, donors, educators, and members of the public interested in Future School Fund — please do not submit a minor's name or any identifying information about a minor through our newsletter signup, contact form, or any other form on this site — including in the free-text message field, even if you are writing in about a scholarship on behalf of your family.
Location Information. We do not knowingly collect any location information through this site. If you'd like to check whether your state is currently eligible, this site links out to a separate third-party tool in a new tab — we do not embed that tool on our site, and no location or address information you provide there is collected or stored by us. That third-party tool's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely for Future School Fund's purposes, including to:
Send you updates about Future School Fund, including news about our January 2027 launch
Communicate about ways to get involved, such as donating or partnering with us
Respond to inquiries you send us
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond Future School Fund's mission and communications.
3. Third-Party Services
Donations. When you choose to donate, you will be directed to a third-party donation platform in a new tab. That transaction and any information you provide there (including payment and tax information) is governed by that platform's own privacy policy, not this one. We encourage you to review it before donating.
School & Partner Applications. Similarly, school and organization partnership applications are handled through a third-party application portal in a new tab, governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
Email & Newsletter. We use Mailchimp to store and manage newsletter signups and send communications. Information you submit through the newsletter form (first name, last name, email) is stored in Mailchimp on our behalf. Mailchimp's use of your information is also governed by Mailchimp's Privacy Policy.
Contact Form. Information you submit through our contact form (first name, last name, email, area of interest, and message) is stored directly within our Squarespace account and sent to Future School Fund's email inbox. This information is not shared with Mailchimp or any other third party.
4. Cookies
This site may use cookies to help it run effectively and to understand how visitors use the site. You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie banner presented when you visit the site.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide to us. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email we send. You may also contact us directly to request that we remove your information from our records.
